願波羅蜜

(願波羅蜜, 愿波罗蜜)

The vow (sa) pāramitās, the eighth of the ten (sa) pāramitās, a bodhisattva's vow to attain (sa) bodhi, and save all beings to the other shore.

願即誓願， 志求滿足也。 謂上求佛道， 下化眾生， 盡未來際， 成就行願也。 經云： 菩薩成就一切眾生， 供養一切諸佛， 盡未來劫， 證得如來智慧， 是名願波羅蜜。 （劫， 梵語具云劫波， 華言分別時節。 ）
